Woman in the Nature

What should I prepare for my initial consultation?

In the initial consultation, we will be discussing how we can help you reach an intended goal or accomplish specific milestones.

Draft a problem statement to provide a picture of the size and scope of what you want to achieve. This task will be necessary to reach a mutual understanding of your needs and the foundation of the recommendations we provide to act on.

We also need to establish a priority level with a relative time frame to get this accomplished. Are we dealing with a crisis that needs to be resolved overnight or are we embarking on a journey of weeks or months?

Do we have decision-makers, subject-matter experts (accountable persons), and the point of contact attending the call? Sometimes the same person is all of the previous designations or has been delegated this authority, other times we have to have them all present to get to a shared mental model on roles and expectations.

Mountain Cliff Hiker

How can I start working with you?

After our initial consultation, we will provide a range of options that we recommend on how we can support your venture.

These options are formatted as a letter of intent on services to be rendered with corresponding fee structures.

Once our proposal is signed, we can get to work.

Crossing the River

How do you charge for your services?

We can provide quotes on a price per hour/day, a retainer, or a fixed project fee; please let us know at our initial consultation the modalities you are comfortable with and we will incorporate them in our proposal.
